The County Clerk-Recorder’s Office cannot do research for you.
You may research recorded documents one of two ways:
Online: Recorded documents can be searched online from 1986 to present. Prior to 1986, the records must be searched in person. You may request copies of documents through the mail, or may order them directly online.

In Person: You may come into our office during normal business hours and do research on our public computer system. Our records go back to 1849. We provide copies of the documents for a nominal fee. If you cannot come into the office, you may send a representative or contact a title company for assistance. Check the phone directory for listings.
