Birth Certificates Marriage License Death Certificates

General Info


You may obtain a certified copy of a birth, death or public marriage license by the following methods:

-In person

-Via mail

-Online (Official Records, Marriage Licenses, and FBN’s only)

The information needed to process your order will be the name(s) on the certificate, the date of the event, and a mailing address the document is to be sent to. We only have births or deaths that have taken place in this county and public marriage licenses that have been purchased in this county.

Birth certificates for newborns are available approximately 6 weeks after the birth.

Death certificates are available approximately 4 weeks after the death occurs.

Payment Methods

Imprinted Personal Checks made payable to "County Recorder" are acceptable for mail or in person requests only.

Credit Card orders will have an additional service fee of 6.00 added. Credit Cards may not be used at the counter or by mail.

If the requested certificate is found, it will mailed to you. If not, you will receive a Certification of No Record as required by law.    Note We do not guarantee a processing time.

Please make sure your request is accurate as this office cannot issue refunds.

Each copy is printed on Security Paper and bears a raised seal, therefore we cannot fax copies.
